What is the AI Innovation Badge Series

The AI Innovation Badge Series offers a structured, practice-informed pathway for developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate AI effectively, ethically, and creatively in educational practice.

Each badge is grounded in globally recognized frameworks—ISTE Standards, UNESCO’s AI Competency Framework, TeachAI, and the Kapor AI Justice Framework—ensuring that your learning is both innovative and evidence-based.

  • AI Innovations in Teaching & Learning

Use AI to design engaging lessons, personalize instruction, and strengthen family communication. The experience concludes with the creation of a Chatbot to support everyday teaching practice.

  • AI Innovations in Student Agency

Empower students to use AI as a tool for inquiry, creativity, and critical thinking. Participants design an app prototype.

  • AI Innovations in Educational Leadership

Leverage AI to analyze data, plan strategically, and communicate with clarity—enhancing collaboration, coaching, and decision-making. The badge culminates in a prototype AI-assisted workflow that models responsible, human-centered leadership.

  • AI Literacy & Human Judgement

Through hands-on exploration, explore how AI works, why it can mislead, and what responsible use looks like in educational settings. End the course by creating an AI explainer and use policy you can share with students, families, or staff.
