Setting Dates for Discussions

Step 1: Navigate to the Discussions List

1. Log in to D2L.
2. Go to the course homepage.
3. Select "Discussions" from the course navigation bar.
4. Find the topic you want to restrict.

Step 2: Edit the Topic

1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the topic name.
2. Select "Edit Topic."
3. On the page that opens, select the "Availability Dates and Conditions" tab.

Step 3: Set a Start Date (Optional)

1. Click on the Availability and Dates panel.
2. Click the calendar icon or type the date manually.

Step 4: Set an End Date (Optional)

1. Click the calendar icon or type the date manually.

Step 5: Save Changes

1. Click "Save and Close."
